Lykins Energy Solutions to be integrated into the World Kinect Energy Services Division
As of October 1, 2021, World Fuel Services Corporation has completed the acquisition of Lykins Energy Solutions’ bulk fuel business, expanding its proprietary operational footprint into the Ohio region and increasing its customer base by ~ 25,000 in the Commercial, Industrial, and Residential sectors.
Lykins Energy Solutions, headquartered in Milford, Ohio, is a prominent physical distributor of gasoline, diesel, lubricants, heating oil, propane, and related services in the region. For World Fuel Services, this acquisition delivers:
- A strong launchpad to grow its customer base in the industrial heartland of the country.
- An opportunity to add value to Lykins Energy Solutions customers by providing them with an extended portfolio of products and services (such as natural gas, electricity, sustainability) in the Ohio footprint and to customers’ operations in the rest of the U.S.
- A complementary physical supply and logistics portfolio to our existing one.
