What is Diesel Exhaust Fluid ?

Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) is a solution used within the Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system in modern diesel engines. A highly purified mixture of urea and deionized water, DEF is non-toxic, non-flammable, colorless, and odorless.
