AZERBAIJAN

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

• On March 27, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers announced the elimination of a COVID-19 passport (or a document confirming full vaccination against COVID- 19 or immunity to COVID-19) requirement for foreign citizens to enter Azerbaijan.  No proof of vaccination or immunity is required to enter Azerbaijan.
• The Cabinet of Ministers announced that, beginning April 15, 2022, the need for a negative PCR test for entry to Azerbaijan is eliminated.

• All travelers arriving in the Russian Federation are exempted from the obligation to undergo a laboratory test for COVID-19

TURKMENISTAN

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

• All flights are subject to case-by-case approval. 
• Passengers and airline crew arriving to Turkmenistan must carry:
  • a COVID-19 vaccination certificate; or
  • a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued at most 48 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; or
  • a proof of chromatographic determination of antibodies (IgM, IgG) in the blood at most 48 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
  • Test also should be taken after aircraft landing (test before and after flight)
    • Alternatively: Passengers can have a Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination certificate and a proof of chromatographic determination of antibodies (IgM, IgG) in the blood. (This does not apply to nationals of Turkmenistan)
  • Not allowed into the city until PCR-tests results are ready (3-4 hours)

RESTRICTIONS FOR TECHNICAL REFUELING/CREW REST

• No PCR tests and forms are needed for crew in case of quick turnaround tech stops without overnight.)
• Crew rest possible in:
  • the airport hotel no longer than 72 hours, provided the crew has negative PCR Covid-19 test result obtained not more than 72 hours from the date of its issue.
  • in booked city hotel, in case crew has certificate of covid-19 inoculation issued not less than 42 days from the date of vaccination. Duration of rest can not exceed 72 hours.

 QUARANTINE REQUIREMENTS

Once negative PCR test result is obtained, travelers will be allowed to enter the county without quarantine.

UKRAINE

BUSINESS FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS

• Martial law is in effect in Ukraine and air traffic has been suspended, however, the entry and exit of foreign citizens by land is allowed.
• Checkpoints on the border with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Moldova are open and safe. Checkpoints with the russia, Belarus and Transnistria are closed.
• Learn the rules for safe travel to Ukraine here.
• Crossing the state border of Ukraine is possible with:
  • a valid passport document (the passport must be valid for the entire stay in the country);
  • Citizens of Turkey and Georgia can enter Ukraine on the basis of an ID card.
  • availability of an entry visa, if required;
  • availability of a health insurance policy covering the costs of Covid-19 treatment in Ukraine;
  • as well as one of the documents: a negative result of a PCR test or a rapid antigen test (no more than 72 hours before crossing the border); or a COVID-19 certificate proving that the person has been vaccinated against COVID-19 with vaccines approved by WHO or that the person has recovered from COVID-19.
• Recommendation! Be prepared to confirm the purpose of your entry and stay in Ukraine.
